Only a day and a half left for the 2024 EcoBlitz!

Since the EcoBlitz ends Saturday night, here's an update!

🌱🌳🐜🐞🦋🐢🦎🍄🐦🔍

The 2024 EcoBlitz Binghamton University iNaturalist Umbrella Project stats as of today:

Number of Observations: 1,083
Number of Species: 361
Number of Observers: 88
Most observed species: Eastern red-backed salamander (Plethodon cinereus)
Most observations: zprete has 150 observations
Most species: zprete has 95 species

Today and tomorrow should continue to have great weather, so if you need a break from studying (or grading), maybe head out and spend a little time observing nature! Also, please remember the goal is to document wild plants and animals. Some of you have really risen to the challenge of not posting cultivated campus plants by posting insects or other animals visiting them or by finding interesting weeds. Nice work! :D

Kudos to all the people who have contributed observations so far:

Last week of the 2024 EcoBlitz!

Since we're heading into the final week, here's an update on the EcoBlitz!

🌱🌳🐜🐞🦋🐢🦎🍄🐦🔍

The 2024 EcoBlitz Binghamton University iNaturalist Umbrella Project stats as of today:
